SHORT DOCUMENTARY | 2024
CONCRETE SUMMER
The illegal sport of alleycat racing, made up of daredevil athletes riding fixed-gear bikes without brakes through major cities, overlapping cars and cutting through red lights provides the backdrop for a surprisingly heartwarming story of brotherhood and overcoming the odds.
This film, made over just 3 months and with a budget of under £150, is the little film that could. After being selected by London Mountain Film Festival, it has since been picked up by an additional 4 film festivals making it the most selected film in LMFF 2025 and, at the time of writing, is due to be screened in eight cities across the UK.
